Mt. Transfiguration Church (MTChurch) build's a community that reflects on God’s grace to deepen our faith through worship, learning, fellowship and service. We believes that everyone has a ministry and should use the gifts and deposits of grace in our lives to glorify God. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.

Senior
Ministry
Senior Ministry encourage those in our Fellowship who are 60 and over to participate in activities that foster spiritual growth and health, age-level educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship events. Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone. Psalm 71:9
Deacons
Ministry
A deacon is one having been chosen because of a good report, full of the Holy Ghost, and of wisdom; is capable of using the office well, set apart publicly for the work and office of an ordained deacon to an Apostolic work; a person judged to be qualified for the work. A deacon is a servant attending to the physical needs and serving as advisors, examples, and leaders. 1Timothy 3:8-13

Our role at Men Sharpen Men is to give men the tools to follow Christ, lead their families, and strengthen their communities. As men of God we are called to be ministers to one another, strengthening the bond between God and his people. Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Community Outreach Ministry

A day of service to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community! Once month, we run service projects that benefit our community whether that is ministering to the youth in detection center; the incarcerate; hospital visitation; nursing home visitation; sick & shut in; and feeding the homeless. "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10
Prison
Ministry
The Prison Ministry is a team of members who have been called by God to minister the Word of God to those who are incarcerated and newly released. This Ministry Team may consist of Licensed Ministers, Deacons-in-Training, and other leaders who are appointed by the Senior Pastor. Continue to remember those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Hebrews 13:3
Couples in Christ
Ministry
Couples in Christ was established to provide opportunities for couples to strengthen their relationship by offering a forum to gain knowledge and enlightened perspectives about God’s expectations as well as promote bonds and establish support groups within the ministry. To celebrate, transform and strengthen couples whether married, engaged, or dating. Marriage was always meant to symbolize God and his love for his people. Ephesians 5:22-27

Usher Ministry serves as the church doorkeepers to ensure that worshipers feel welcome and assist the Pastor by maintaining reverence and order so members and visitors may received the message. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:13

The purpose of “Women on Mission” is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional need of women. The ministry is created to uplift, encourage and to motivate women to become positive, productive, Godly women living and walking in their purpose. Encourage one another, and build up one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Culinary Ministry is foster an environment of spiritual fellowship through the planning, preparation and serving of culinary for various church related functions. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8
